A fine pair of Chelsea porcelain dessert dishes from the gold anchor period, dating to 1758-70.

The dishes are decorated with fruit and swags of blue ribbons. While fruit decoration is often seen at Chelsea, the ribbon decoration is quite unusual.

The dishes measure approximately 8 inches across. One is in very good condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration. The second does have some cracking, but is stable and the damage is only noticeable on close inspection.

Marked with gold anchor to the bases.
