A Derby porcelain plate in rarely seen pattern 187, dating to c1795.
 
Decorated with Smith's blue rim and enhanced with gilding.
 
Condition: Although in otherwise perfect condition, a large percentage of the gilding has been redone. It displays well, but the restoration is visible under close inspection. 
 
Marked with crown, crossed batons, dots and D in puce and with its pattern number.
