A beautiful Derby porcelain slop bowl, dating to c1790, decorated in pattern 121.

The slop bowl is made out of William Duesbury's finest 'duck egg' porcelain.  The finest porcelain body made at the Derby factory.

The bowl measures approximately 6.5 inches diameter and stands 3.5 inches tall.  Marked with crown, crossed batons, dots and D in puce, and with gilder's number 18 for John Moscrop.

The bowl has seen some damage in the shape of a large chip at the rim and associated hairline crack.  It is therefore offered at a competitive price.  Ideal reference piece or displays well.
