A stunning Derby teapot stand in rarely seen pattern 455, decorated with the most superb running roses and bluebells in "Prentice Plate" style - the work of Derby's foremost artist, William Billingsley.  Dates to c1795.
 
Factory mark in puce and an  impressed 7 at the footrim.  Very good condition.
