A very attractive Lowestoft porcelain tea bowl in one the Redgrave group of patterns, the School House pattern.

The tea bowl dates to c1760, decorated in iron red and blue, with houses, pagodas, and very charming characters.

It has seen some damage, and has two large chips to the footrim.  There is also a small area of discolouration, a fault that occurred during its manufacture.  However, it can be displayed so that these are not obvious, as can be seen in my pictures.
