A Derby cup in a rare and as yet undesignated pattern number (no sketch or description appears in the Derby Pattern Books) with a circular reserve of hand painted summer flowers.
 
The saucer although not an identical match, compliments the cup, and is of slighly earlier manufacture.
 
The cup has unfortunately seen some damage and there is poor restoration to the inside rim for a chip and a faint associated hairline.  It displays well nonetheless.
 
Cup marked with crown, crossed batons, dots and D in carmine.  No pattern number.  The saucer  with factory mark in blue.
