This New Hall cup and saucer makes a bold statement in any china cabinet.  Decorated in striking orange and white, this is New Hall's Pattern 651 (previously pattern u92).
Wide orange overgilt band, with pair of overlapping and undulating feathery ribbons.
The pair date to c1810 and are in good condition for their age, save for some loss to the gilding.  No cracks, hairlines, chips or restoration.
No factory marks.
