A very beautiful Chamberlain's Worcester basket, dating to c1820.
 
The basket is of mid-green ground and decorated with two superb, hand painted landscapes within raised and tooled gilt reserves.  There are applied white and gilt flowers around the rim and to the handle.
 
It measures 5 inches diameter and stand 4 inches tall from base to the top of the handle.  In excellent condition, although I suspect that the handle may have had some restoration.  This has been extremely well done and is not detectable.
 
Unmarked, but conforms to marked examples of the Chamberlain's Worcester factory.
