A superb Derby porcelain heart shaped dessert dish, decorated with a wide band of beautiful, hand painted autumnal leaves - the work of Derby artist, George Complin.

The dish dates to c1795 and is in good condition for its age.  There is a short hairline and associated small chip to the face of the dish, but this is very well hidden amongst the decoration.  Some wear to gilded rim.

Marked with crown, crossed batons, dots and D in puce.
